I don\u2019t think so. Everything else is hard work and luck. Citizens, and would  be Citizens donate time, energy, money, materials, pleasure and pain.Pain is real popular. To be a Citizen is to be admired\/despised, welcomed\/refused, sought\/avoided. It is a group of people whose common goal is to make all those around them feel good through some sort of art. As you can imagine, this is a double-edged sword.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being a Citizen means that if you are in trouble, and another &#8220;Revelwooder&#8221; is near by, you can count on that person being in trouble too. However, when there are two Revelwooders together, a party breaks out, and the troubles seem just a little less ominous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Citizens of Revelwood are usually asked where the party is, as Revelwood parties have become quite famous. The appropriate answer is &#8220;<em>here<\/em>.&#8221; It perpetuates the image and you don\u2019t have to buy the beer. Just make sure you know where &#8220;<em>here&#8221;<\/em>&nbsp;is so you can get word out to the rest of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being a Citizen entitles you to get blamed a lot. Shunned by purists. Followed at the Pennsic War and into a Revelwood party without much effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond that, it\u2019s entirely up to you.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HOW TO BECOME A CITIZEN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"346\" src=\"http:\/\/revelwood.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/mormonsfromhell.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18\" srcset=\"http:\/\/revelwood.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/mormonsfromhell.jpg 480w, http:\/\/revelwood.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/mormonsfromhell-300x216.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">&#8230;a typical citizen?&#8230;.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>To become a &#8220;Citizen&#8221; of the colony, you must receive a Revelwood Pin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To receive a Pin, you must attend one Pipe and Pint and then contribute art, time, energy, money, materials, pleasure and pain throughout the next year, in support of other Revelwood events. Then, at the next Pipe and Pint Baronial Court, your sponsor will present you to receive your Pin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How do you get sponsored? Well, that\u2019s really up to you isn\u2019t it. Need a hint? Bribes seem to work well. So does devout service. Then there\u2019s always pain.
